November is a time to remember those who have fought for the freedoms we are so fortunate to have today. Our Remembrance Day assembly will be held on Friday, November 8 at 10:45 am. Parents are welcome to attend.
It is also a time to reflect on all that has happened and all that is to come. As term one comes to a close this month we reflect on what we have learned – where we shone, where we grew and what we will work on in the coming weeks.
“In Flanders fields the poppies blow between the crosses, row on row, that mark our place; and in the sky the larks, still bravely singing, fly scarce heard amid the guns below.” John McCrae, Canadian poet, doctor and medical officer during WW1
