Here we are into the month of October. We had another fun & successful Terry Fox Walk/Run last month and earned $430. 37 as a school. Thank you for your contributions.
Cross Country for interested grade 3, 4 & 5 students started mid September and we have enjoyed two races already. As usual, the Final Race is at Beacon Hill Park and is scheduled for October 24. Thank you to Ms. Houldsworth for coaching .
Soccer has also started up for interested grade 4 & 5 students. We play intramurals and conclude with a Spectrum Family of Schools Jamboree on October 27 at Beckwith Park. Thank you Ms. Houldsworth for coaching the soccer team.
Please review our School Code of Conduct which is posted on our school website. Our ‘restitution’ approach focuses on being Respectful, Responsible and Safe. Also, please note that skateboarding, scootering, cycling & any other form of transportation aside from walking is not permitted on the school grounds.
Thank you to our parent volunteers!! Please note that all school volunteers and drivers must complete a criminal record check and submit a driver’s abstract. The criminal record check can be completed on line at https://justice.gov.bc.ca/eCRC/home.htm. The school access code is BN54MY5UEY. Once completed the criminal record check will be sent directly to the school.
