Administrator’s Message
Dear Eagle View Families,
The holiday season is here and there are only two weeks left before winter break. Classes are busy rehearsing for our Winter Concert on Thursday, December 19 and engaged in a new term of learning while having some winter seasonal fun.
As term one has come to a close we would like to thank the families of Eagle View . We couldn’t do what we do without your continued support. As we look at the food donations accumulating, it is easy to see your generosity and care for our community. We are also fortunate to work with an incredible team here at Eagle View. They have been working diligently to close out term 1. Thank you for partnering with all our staff as together we move children forward in their educational journey.
Fun Lunches: Please let the office know if your child would like to participate in fun lunches. We have a fund that will support families who cannot afford the program. Your privacy will be respected.
Reminder: Fresh fruit is available every day for all students.
We have a few staffing updates to share at this time. Last month we said goodbye to Ms. Jade Orellana (EA). We appreciate her positive attitude and we wish her well at her next school. We welcome back Ms. Belle Kroeger as an EA. We look forward to having her as a continuing member of our team. We had to say goodbye to Ms. Alayna Crane (EA) who accepted another job at Strawberry Vale. We are also happy to say that Mr. Jared Crossley was the successful candidate for Mrs. Gardner’s temporary position.
On Friday, December 13th, your child’s learning updates will be released. You will be able to view them through the “Parent Connect” portal, the same place you sign permission forms online. If for some reason you are not able to access the learning update, please call the office. Our focus on reading and writing continues, working towards all students being at grade level by grade 3 and forward, and writing with detail to convey meaning. We hope you enjoy reading about your child’s progress as much as we do.
